Wardrobe with Reclaimed Doors
We were commissioned to create a wall of wardrobes and storage for a master bedroom using a selection of reclaimed doors which the clients had collected. The doors were of various shapes and sizes and all needed some light restoration. We started the process by measuring all the doors and then creating a 3D model of the room so that we could try out various positions and sizes of doors. After deciding on a final layout the doors were restored and the large feature doors for the central wardrobe were cut down to fit in the room. They were then cleaned and oiled ready to be hung on the new MDF carcasses. Two chest of drawers were created with simple shaker style drawer fronts which wouldn’t compete with the feature doors. The client is going to paint the wardrobe themselves and we can’t wait to see it finished!
